Design Builders and Remodeling president David H. Adams started the company in 1986 with the vision of a comprehensive home renovation experience for clients. His goal was bringing together under one umbrella the areas of professional design, cost budgeting, and construction services, using a design-build process for the client. With only one company handling both design and construction, our clients enjoy greater continuity of service and can save clients time and money as well. North Salem, located a mere 50 miles outside of New York City, offers a bucolic scene at every turn, with uninterrupted views of rolling countryside decorated by post and rail fences, pastures and farms.  The town's open vistas have been preserved by a preponderance of horse farms and large estates, making it truly a rural paradise.
